Ryecourt Clinic provides Psychological & Educational Assessments in Cork for children, adolescents and adults, including ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia assessments.
Our assessment service is provided by a psychologist specialising in psychological and educational assessment, offering individuals and families access to comprehensive assessment, clear recommendations and guidance regarding appropriate educational, workplace or clinical supports.
ADHD Assessments
ADHD assessments are available for children aged 7–17 and adults aged 18–50.
The assessment explores areas including attention, memory, planning, organisation and executive functioning using appropriate standardised assessment tools.
Dyslexia Assessments
Dyslexia assessments are available for children aged 8–17 and adults aged 18+.
The assessment examines areas including reading, reading comprehension, written expression and spelling to help identify difficulties and appropriate educational supports.
Dyscalculia Assessments
Dyscalculia assessments are available for children aged 8–17 and adults aged 18+.
The assessment examines mathematical concepts, calculation and numerical reasoning to identify areas of difficulty and appropriate recommendations.
What Is Included?
Assessments are conducted using standardised, psychometrically validated assessment tools and in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
Following the assessment, patients and families will receive:
- A feedback session to discuss the findings
- A comprehensive diagnostic report
- Individualised recommendations
- Guidance regarding educational, workplace or other supports
- Recommendations for onward clinical referral where appropriate
Accessing Assessment Locally in Cork
Ryecourt Clinic aims to provide more timely access to specialist psychological and educational assessments for individuals and families who may otherwise face lengthy waiting periods.
Assessments take place at Ryecourt Clinic in Cloughduv, Co. Cork.
Assessment Fees
The fee for an ADHD, Dyslexia or Dyscalculia assessment is €1,300 per assessment.
The fee includes the assessment process, feedback session, comprehensive diagnostic report and individualised recommendations.
