Belfast or Blind bus

Michael Collins TD is running busses to Belfast for patients waiting for Cataract Surgery or Hip/Knee replacement. This is in conjunction with the HSE Cross Border Treatment Scheme. Busses run from various pick up points in Cork. Patients are brought to the Clinic in Belfast for a consultation. They are then brought to a hotel for an overnight stay. Next morning, they are transported back to the clinic for surgery. Then brought back to Cork. Patients pay up front and are then reimbursed by the HSE. If you are interested, please call Kay, Michael Collins TD’s secretary on 086 3456883. The rules for reimbursement for cataract surgery are changing on 1st Sept, when the HSE cover will reduce. Michael Collins TD is running extra busses this week and next before the change comes into effect. Call Kay asap if you are interested.
